Personal Dilemma

Ok, so I didn't know who to ask about this and I'm not sure what I should do. I think I might be pregnant. I know, that is so bad to say but I think I might be. I haven't talked to my hubby about this yet. I am so worried what he will say. I know he wants kids, but he doesn't want them anytime soon. We stopped using condoms because I was going to start using Birth control, but I forgot to take them for a few days. I'm really, really worried that he will think that I did it on purpose so that I can quit work and be a stay at home mom. He knows thats what I really want to do with my life.

Picture for Denielle

A while back, my sister asked me if I would edit some of her wedding pictures. I edited some, but she really wanted some specific things edited. She wanted me to go in and airbrush skin, remove blemishes, whiten teeth etc. I guess I forgot about it until today. I wanted to post one of the pictures that I edited since I was so proud of myself. It took me forever to smooth out the skin and whiten the teeth. It wasn't so much hard as time consuming. You have to be pretty exact with your brush. I am really happy with the end result. Although I'm not sure that you can really see the difference with the small size images. I will post links to the bigger ones so you can see it full size too:

Big Size
You can see how her hubby's teeth are a little yellow and his cheeks are kinda ruddy.

Big Size
I was able to lighten the teeth, smooth out the skin, boost the color and remove some blemishes and moles.

You can see more of a difference in the bigger versions.

O' Neill Park

Uggg, anyone else super depressed to go back to work tomorrow? The thought of it is making my stomach turn...I mean..I love my job :|. Besides dreading work on Monday, I am having a nice weekend. On Saturday MH and I decided to drive out El Toro road and just have a look see at all the new stuff they built. We ended up going towards Cooks Corner, a cool biker bar, and ended up at O'Neil Park.

I seem to remember going out there once or twice for school things. Anyway, it was really pretty. MH and I were able to get some nice pictures. I let MH take most of the pictures and then I play around with them in Photoshop. Here are some of the edited and regular pics:

Ok, so I took this one to try out some artsy stuff in Photoshop. I kinda like the bluish glow to it.

There was a really pretty creek that flowed over the road. We got some pictures from both sides, this was one of my favorites of the bunch.

I really like the effect on these.

More non-edited nature pics:

This one looks kinda funky because it was taken out of the windshield.

On our way home, there was a guy that fell off his motorcycle right in front of us! He was headed opposite us and hit a curve. He slid out right in front of us, if MH hasn't been paying attention and going slow we would have ran him over. It was super scary!! Luckily he seemed to be ok.

Hope you liked this pics,

I Swear I'm Doing it This Time!

Last night I had a great time with my lovely cousin Shelley. I knew the evening was going to be great when it started off with Shelley making me dinner. She made some really yummy ribs and salad. I thought it was the perfect Spring dinner. Not too heavy but really filling. We shared some wine and chatted the night away. Since she just got her wedding video (16 months after her wedding!) we decided to have a wedding video night. She hadn't seen mine either. It was really nice to be able to remember the day.

What I really took away from the night, besides my hangover, was how good Shelley looked (come on, you know you do). She just had a baby a few months ago and she is skinner than when she got preggo. She has been making sure to make it to the gym and kinda watch what she eats.

Its kinda hard for me because we have always been around the same size. We were both really skinny at the same time. So now that I am wayyyy bigger than her it makes me feel that much worse. So I know I have said it before, but I swear I am going to loose weight this time. I think that secret is to not overwhelm yourself with all these new changes. If I can just take it one step at a time I can get there, I know it. I am going to start off with trying to get at least a 20-30 minute workout 3 times a week. I just got my pass key to the gym at my apartments, so I am all ready to go. It doesn't hurt that MH is really wanting to get back into working out too.

So everyone wish me luck, AGAIN.

The Little Ones

Like I mentioned two posts ago; last weekend I went to the beach with my sister and her kids. Actually, the oldest didn't end up going so we just brought the younger ones...aka The 'Babies'. They were so cute playing around in the sand. Mason, the younger one, thought it would be fun to try and eat the sand and then completely roll around in it.

The day made me realize I really do want kids, but I'm glad I don't have them yet. Here are some of the pictures:

We started the day off with some lunch at the Fisherman's

The kids found it hard to sit and eat when the beach was calling them.

Little Alexa

Oh no I have sand on my hands!

I love Mason's face in this picture.

Sand doesn't taste quite as good as it looks.

My sister would not let me take any pictures of her. She is going to be pissed that I posted this one.

Awwwwww ;)

Picture Crazy

I was trying to find some pictures on my Flickr page and I couldn't find anything. I had a bunch of pictures not in sets, I had no collections and some really old images that I didn't need anymore. I decided to do some Spring Cleaning in Flickr.

For those of you who don't already use flickr.com, you should. You can upload pictures for free, set them into sets and collections, view others pictures, add comments, edit your photos, order photos and more. The basic account is free, but you have a monthly limit for picture you can upload and view. I ended up getting the Pro account which is really cheap and so worth it.

I digress...............

So I spent forever cleaning out and sorting my pics. I came across some random wedding pictures. I hope you enjoy them:

This is a non-pro pic from my wedding in 2006. A little back story; my niece Ella wore fake hair to my wedding. She really wanted it and it actually looked cute. However, it didn't last long...like most nice things in the hands of young children. Somehow my grandpa got a hold of it. He wore it on his head and his chest. It was pretty funny. Too bad my photographers didn't get a picture of it....but that is another story.

Another non-pro wedding picture. Every bride should have a picture of herself trying to go to the bathroom in her wedding dress.

Weird position + fat leg + super white skin = Brianna Trying to get her garters on.

Mean, mean bride. I felt really bad, and then.......begged for my life.

So there are my random pictures for the day.

My Easter Weekend

Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend.

On Friday, Dan and I, were able to head out to Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Aliso viejo to take some pictures. We had lots of fun playing with the different camera modes and just being together. The weather ended up being really nice. Here are just a few pictures that we took.

Dana Point Pictures: We went ended up across from the Blue Lantern Inn at a cute little gazebo that over looked the Dana Point Harbor.

Beer can in the bushes.

We took Laguna Canyon road, to PCH and just took in all the nice scenery. The pictures were all taken from the car.....so, keep that in mind.

Lifeguard tower on the beach.

Not sure why, but I really like this picture.

On Laguna Canyon road.

We took some pics closer to home in Aliso.

There were so many gnats floating around, I'm surprised the camera got them.

Dan got some really nice pictures of our rings, which I have always wanted, but he never uploaded them.

On Saturday my sister and I headed to the Fisherman's on the SC pier for some lunch and a drink. The we headed down to the beach to let the kids play. I haven't uploaded the pictures yet (sorry Denielle). The kids loved it! Mason kept rolling in the sand and running all around. In fact, he had so much sand on him that we decided to head to my parents house to give him a quick bath. We ended up staying a while and chatting with my parents.

We headed back over to my sisters house for dinner and a movie. We watched Atonement, it was kinda hard to watch cuz my sister's kids were still up. It was supposed to be really good and it won all kinda of rewards. Its kinda a messed up movie.

On Sunday Hubby and I went to church and then went to my parents house to have some lunch. It was a really nice day. When we get home we engaged in some intensive spring cleaning. Anyone that knows me knows, I HATE to clean... really, who does? It was nice to have it done though. Dan and I topped off the evening watching last weeks Lost and some other recorded shows. All in all it was a really nice weekend.

Hugs,
BriannaNichole!
