Utah and Other Randomness

I had a friend mention yesterday that they didn't like blogs that were all me, me, me. It got me worried a little bit about the content of my blog. Then I decided I didn't so much care. This blog is titled the Fabulous BriannaNichole, I happen to be BriannaNichole ergo my blog is all about ME and my life.

With that being said, here are some pictures including me. While digging through My Pictures folder I found some of the trip Shell and I took to visit her sister in Utah. I thought I would share those and some other randomness thrown in.

Since I was soooo proud of my Snooki costume I really had to include a picture. It seriously took me about 2 hours to get the look right. I had crazy dark powder not only on my face, but all over my neck, chest and arms. Luckily I had a bumpit on hand so I didn't need to rat my hair too much. What you cannot see in this picture is the great fuzzy slippers I had.

Here are the Utah pics. We loved the rustic feel of the mountain town Laurie lived in.

Shell and I goofing around in the snow.

If you read the last post you got to see Shell's picture with the bear. Here is my turn to give him a little love.

Laurie preferred the moose.

Shell and I decided to take Emma up the mountain to get some real snow.

Little Emma Lu, she is so grown up now. *tear*

Ok funny, at least to me, story. Emma fell in LOVE with this little zebra Laurie had in the house. Emma had it attached to her hip the whole trip. To avoid a major meltdown she let Emma take it home with her.

Here it is riding the moving sidewalk with us at the airport.

Emma booting him up so he can see the TV better.

Shelley sharing her dinner.

And me letting him have a sip of my wine, I'm so nice.

Random picture Dan took forever ago. I stuck it in here to make me feel bad about my weight gain. *sigh* BTW if you look at the pics on the wall you can see my magazine pic of the dress I was going to wear to Denielle's wedding. Not sure why I needed that.

One of Denielle's bdays. She was preggo w/ Alexa here.

Ok how cute and little are Emma and Ella here?

And yet another blog all about me comes to an end. Hope you enjoyed it, I certainly did.

XOXO Brianna-don.

To Amazing People

I am so very lucky to have so many amazing people in my life. I have a wonderful husband, parents any kid would be thrilled to have, a sister who doubles as a best friend, a brother who has to be the funniest person I know and who is married to person who I couldn't adore more if I picked her out myself (seriously, good job Devo), grandparents who are the most generous loving people in the world, aunts and uncles who are always there for me and a boat load of cousins who all in their own way create a rainbow that just rounds out my family perfectly. Yet, there is a cousin who will always hold a very special place in my heart. At 10 months older and an inch taller I have always looked up to her. I would opt for her hand me downs, instead of my new clothes just because I wanted to be like her. Yes, I am talking about this girl.
Yeah that bear loves her too. Shelley Belly has been one of my best friends for as long as I can remember. When I was 11 and she moved to my city I was thrilled. Between bike rides to the Yummy Yogurt and hours strutting around with water balloon boobs, I was in hog heaven. As we grew up; the bike rides became trips to the Fishermans and evenings spent watching Friends over glasses of chardonnay.

Shelley has always been there for me. Whether its a listening ear, someone to cry with me, design advice or someone to raise a glass of wine with. I will never forget our nights of KJ and talks. Shelley has such an amazing heart, she would give you the shirt off her back and then cook you dinner, all while having a beautiful family and a clean house.

Shell-Bell I love you more than I can say and I miss you so much. You are one of the best people I know. You are beautiful both inside and out. I am proud to call you friend, cousin and sister. Never forget how wonderful you are.

Happy Birthday Lady! I hope 31 is the best year yet!

30 and the Pumpkin Patch

As I sit here trying desperately to come up with something witty to blog about all I can think about is the Lost Boys theme song remake that Dan is blaring into the office. I mean who can blog when all they can hear is ...'thou shalt not killll'?

This seems to sum up my year of blogging. I haven't been able to find anything mildly interesting to talk about. I do have pumpkin patch pictures to share (you're welcome Denielle) but that is about it. Maybe I can start with the biggest thing that happened this year.

Insert funeral music here. I turned 30 this year. *gasp* It was every bit as hard as I though it was going to be. September 20th seemed to loom before me like the dark death cloud it was. Whoever said 30 was the new 20 was lying to you. 30 is the new 30 and it comes with a whole bag of fun. Like the wrinkles, those are extra special. When I brought up the possibility of botox Dan shot me down like I was asking for a man on the side, but I digress. I seriously could not find anything positive about being 30 unless it was on the scale. Apparently those number have been on the positive since I got married, I blame Dan.

Alright enough of the gloom and doom from me. I got a chance to go to the local pumpkin patch with Denielle and the kids. (hold on Dan is explaining to me why the drum sounds like it does on the current song he is playing) Ok so it was nice, I mean other parent and kids make me want to cut someone and if I never have to dig for another pumpkin it will be too soon, but the kids had fun and I got some cute pictures.

Mason really didn't want to have his picture taken so I had to trick him.

Trying to hide from me, good thing Denielle is so small. She really doesn't make a good shield.

Ella was spinning these tea cup type ride so fast that I thought poor Alexa was going to puke.

Maynard, you are so cute.

Alexa and Mason were sitting so nicely before the ride started.

Cheese!

This picture cracks me up. The kids were so busy posing for a picture that when the ride started it startled them both.

Alexa is so mini Denielle.

She is growing up way too fast.

Thanks for checking out the pics. I promise I will post again before 2011 ;)

Better Late Than Never

Hey if you just got an invitation to view this blog it is because I made it private. Instead of just allowing people it sent out an invitation to them. I will be updating the content though, I know you all are jumping for joy now.
