Can it be Friday?

I went to the Dr's yesterday to see what was going on with my stomach. The Dr said that it is probably acid reflux and heartburn. She gave me some pills and sent me to get a blood test. If it is not better soon I have to come back in and get a check for a ulcer. I am hoping the pills work fast!! It could take up to 4 days to even feel a difference. It just sucks that there is nothing I can do right now for the pain. I pretty much have to suck it up and deal with it. The other thing that sucks is that my diet is going to have to change, drastically. I mean I totally know this is my fault for eating all those yummy, spicy, fatty, fried foods. They are just sooooooo good. The worst part......No Alcohol or coffee *sigh*. I don't drink that often, but I do enjoy it.

Enough Debbie Downer. Hopefully this will give me a really good incentive to loose weight. With the diet changes and eating several small meals during the day I should see a change. Annnnnd its just in time too loose weight before going to the Bahama's in November. Maybe it will even help save money on eating out. Plus, if I see a weight loss I may even be motivated to start working out and loosing even more weight.

Hopefully this will be a positive thing for me and all this pain will actually serve some good. This Thursday is feeling better already!
Hugs,
BriannaNichole!

Hope you start to feel better soon. Good luck on your road to being healthy. I think a lot of us are doing the exact same thing.

I had stomach problems last year and they thought i had gastro problems. Turns out it was gallstones. Maybe ask for an ultrasound for that ;)

I can't drink right now either. And there's nothing I want more than a tall glass of something.

No coffee no booze? No fried fatty foody goodness? Yikes. On the bright side, you will lose weight. I guess it's a good trade off, no?

Ouch - sorry to hear that you're having some stomach problems. But yes, the upside is that you HAVE to eat healthier and hopefully this will be the start of something really good for you. Feel better soon =(

I'm so sorry you are going thru this - I hate to tell you this, but I dry heave every morning and have for over a year now. The doctors have sent me to every specialist there is, and they can't find out what is wrong with me. Their best guess is stress. I hope you combat the source of your problem soon and not have to live it like me. I'll pray for you.
