Happy Times with Shelley

So, some of you may not know that I have one of the BEST families in the world. My sister and cousin's are some of my very best friends. In fact, my sister and my cuz Shelley are my best friends. I was really lucky to grow up with an extended family that was really close. My dad has 2 brothers and a sister. All of them, and my grandparents are living in Orange County. In fact, both my sister and cousin Shell are within walking distance of my house....not that I am much of a walker ;). I just feel so lucky to be a part of the Morrow Clan. We are a loud, sometimes brash, overly noisy and teasing bunch...but we love each other and any one of them would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. My family is some good people.

Moving on, before I do more than tear up, my oh' so lovely cousin Shelley invited me to her place for some drinks and conversation. She even made me dinner. Ok, side-note, I never realized how nice it was to have someone make you dinner until I moved out and had to be the one to make dinner. Not that I cook all that much, but if I don't no one does. She got all fancy with her dinner too. She made me BBQ'd (mmmm) chicken thighs, pasta and sliced tomatoes on mozzarella cheese with balsamic vinegar on it. Are you drooling yet? It was so yummy. Plus...I didn't have to cook it.

We topped it all off with some yummy margaritas. It gave Shell a chance to use her cute new margarita glasses. We just got to talk, laugh and commiserate over our lives. The evening ended too early when my hubby came to take my margarita soaked ass home. Although I did get to watch ANTM, so it wasn't all that bad.

So here is my shout out to Shelley...I love you man.......

Love,
BriannaNichole

One of my fave things about one of my friends during law school was that each week we'd take turns making dinner for each other. She lived in the apartment above me, so we were constantly running back and forth for ingredients
