I have to admit I am a huge book whore. I love, love love reading....sometimes a bit much. I have been known to ditch friends, family, hubby and maybe sometimes work in favor of of reading. I sometime wonder what you non readers do with your time. Oh wait, you must have lives. I was cleaning my car last weekend when I noticed that I had 5 books in my car! 5, what do I need 5 books in my car for. Heaven forbid I go a minute without getting to read something.
Since I am such a book whore, you can image how overjoyed I was to get the Sookie Stackhouse book set for Christmas...THANKS DAN! For those of you who have been living under a rock, these are the books that inspired the sinfully delightful HBO series True Blood. I just love me some good Vampire entertainment. I was dying for a replacement series since I finished Twilight (sigh).
The books follow a young cocktail Waitress who is telepathic. The world is not just full of Vampires (who just came out of the coffin) but Shifters, faeries and all kinds of other supernatural creatures (or Supes if you are in the know).
I would totally recommend these to anyone who likes the show, or who just enjoys a good read.

clean your car out much? :) I just started the twilight series, but haven't had much time to read. Im only 1/3 of the way through the 1st one. I like it so far.
