Surprising Rave

I went to Kinkos yesterday to get something printed. I don't really expect much in the way of customer service, purely based off past experiences. Its not that they are super rude, its just that they have NO idea what is going on. Plus their prices are really high.

So, as I was saying, I went in to get some copies and my thumbdrive would not work in their machine. I tried it a few times and I even tried multiple machines. Still no luck. Then I stood around at the counter without being acknowledged for about about five minutes. I was just about to get mad and leave in a huff, when this nice older gentleman asked if he could help me.

I told him what I was trying to do and the error I was getting. He walks me back over to the machine...I was getting mad at this point because he was going to walk me through what I had already done. He tried to make it work, surprise surprise, no luck. I was getting irritated because I knew I would ave to go home and get the files. However the really nice guy that was helping me sat right down at their computer and burnt a CD of the things I needed printed.

This seems like such a small thing, but it was really nice of him to go the extra mile. He was very nice about it and explained to me what the problem had been with my thumbdrive. He saved me a lot of time and he really seemed happy to do it.

So I give him a very big Gold Star. Thanks Bob from Aliso Viejo Kinkos. You rock Bob!!!
